I used to be able to take advantage of current promotions and the shipping was reasonable. Now it seems like they make the product "free" but shift the expense to the shipping cost.
There is no way the cost to ship a puzzle, plaque and notepad is $27. It's delivered via USPS and I know they offer flat rate shipping not to mention price breaks for bulk mailing. You're losing a long time customer Shutterfly. Shame on you.
I've noticed there's an increased shipping charge for all items, even two 8x10s.
It's not worth purchasing any item through Shutterfly at this point. I'll wait until one of the competitors has a sale or free shipping offer and patronize them instead.

Lack of Response and Receipt of 1st order
I downloaded the app on my phone and placed my first order, I was of course charged and never received my 1st book. After a month in trying to resolve this issue I tried to cancel my account both to no avail.
I receive automated instant responses but no action.
At this point I would like to cancel my account. In trying to do so I realized there is no easy way to cancel, or even an account number to reference other than my name.
I would be thrilled to cancel my order and just don't know how much more effort I can put into repeatedly trying to contact groovebook. I was so excited and all to be quickly disappointed.

Unprofessional service, lies & unreliable
Worst experience ever. I ordered a book and paid for expedited service for delivery on 15th November.
Todate (18th), the status is still reading "in production", despite 4 prior calls the previous week and emails. Customer service promises coupons and promos and next one receives a feedback survey, maybe to give good feedback to whoever offered a promo. Shutterfly is a scam. It is the second time experiencing this, and being given the same excuse that the book had to be re-printed.
My first order was almost $300.
The second was about $55 and the third $57. They have definitely lost a client and many more ahead.

Once again the website is quirky. I had same issue last order as well as my recent a few minutes ago.
I spend good time on noting how many copies I want for each print and the sizes, then hit order or 'send' and nothing shows up in the CART. All my hard work disappears. I've been with the company for 25 yrs, so its not like I don't know what I am doing.
I spend extra time going back editing the text that will show up on back of prints: I delete the current date and hand type the DATE TAKEN. I only continue with the company because it still DOES put image name on the back of prints which is a good policy for archival reasons.

Shutterfly, my worst experience on e-commerce ever
Hi,
My name is Tiago, I've ordered a photo book on 4/Set/2018 with Shutterfly (for my regret). They informed the estimated arrival date between 24/Sep to 28/Sep.
Today is 1st of October and I don't have my book. I reached them through chat, they said that they CAN'T TRACK where is my book and they asked if I want that they send another one. For my surprise, even when I explained that the book was a gift to my wife's birthday (27/Sep) and also for our anniversary (24/Sep), they HAVEN'T SAID/DONE anything different then say sorry and that's it.
After this first chat, I have been trying to reach them again in the 24/7 chat with NO ONE IN QUEUE, but none of the staff is picking my chat.
My first and last purchase using these guys. As a customer this was the worst experience that I had in my whole life. How can a company keep doing business in that way?
I bought it 20 days in front just to guarantee that no issues with delivery will happen, but look at the result...
I don't know what I say to my wife... They have ruined two special dates of my life!

Why do the pictures disappear and why cant I get them in the order I want. Very very hard to do.
I do not like the way you arrange them. Can I number them in the way I want and will you then arrange them . Guess I just cant do it. Pictures disappear, the ones I don't want you put on the wrong page.
You keep coming up with the prices. I am willing to pay whatever but want it the way I want … not one from 50 years ago, one now and whatever. Could you possibly help me? cdfargo@***.com.

Completely agree!!! So disappointed. Unfortunately I have just deleted my LONGTIME Shutterfly app.
