I received an email coupon stating that there was 50% on hardback photo books. My wife spend hours and hours creating a photo book on Shutterfly's website.
We ordered two photo books costing $229.49 each. However, we were not given the 50% discount of $229.49 off. Instead we were given a discount of $163.74. The difference is $65.75.
The email had no fine print, no T&Cs, no exceptions or restrictions listed. The same was true of the discount advertisement on the website which was visible during the time of promotion.
I have screenshots to prove this. We were told by their customer service the 50% discount did not apply because we added additional pages to the photo book.
