New update is horrific. I have been a long time user - I have over 275 projects, 50 8x8 books, a dozen 8x11.
Cannot believe the terrible changes they made and am disgusted.
I always praised Shutterfly - not any more. Changes are a step backwards and I know my comments and many others I've seen will go completely unnoticed.

- - Platform updated without notice, causing lost projects and botched calendar orders, with blank boxes that cannot be removed.
Shutterfly updated their platform with no notice to long time client. I have lost projects and the reorder of a calendar completed in December 2025 arrived botched due to the new update.
The new system adds extra "blank" boxes to calendars that cannot be removed, therefore making the boxes very small. Worst update ever.
Shutterfly does not seem to care that the long time clients are upset and won't fix the issues. Bring back the classic Shutterfly.

I just discovered they made a lot of changes in their format for creating your own photobook.
It is so different I may have to find a different company to make any more photo books. It is not user-friendly at all.

My original issue was resolved, but I placed another order which arrived at the distribution center 10 miles fr our house on 12/19/25 and was still not delivered by12/24/25. I called 2-3 times and was told my package was running late, but I believe it is lost.
They refused to re-order it.
One of the gifts is for my marine who is home on leave so it is timely. I really like Shutterfly products but am very disappointed.
Promo deals are not clearly worded; difficult to tell what the true benefits are. This could be improved for customers.

- - Ordered Christmas cards after Thanksgiving; photo and labels had wrong names, replacement cards were an old design, refund issued.
I ordered Christmas cards a couple of days after Thanksgiving in order to have them in time for Christmas. They sent me my picture with the wrong family name on it!
And my preprinted address labels had another name and address on them! I called back, and they sent out new cards, but when I received the next batch, they were an old card from 2 years ago from a previous Shutterfly order!
We have no cards, and Christmas is around the corner! They did issue me a refund.

Advertise free prints, spent an hour uploading pictures and then they asked for $50 bucks for shipping. Insane

Trying to use them is nearly impossible. Big fraud.

Hi so I got a code from petsmart for a free tote bag with Shutterfly and I had begun an order. When I come back to it later to continue the project, I couldnt find it.
So I reentered the code to start the project over but it said code invalid. So I made a new account hoping that I could use the code but still coupon invalid. I only have until July 31st to use the code. Can you help?

Only an AI robot. Not interested in communicating with a nonhuman.
I will be making my Christmas card elsewhere if Shutterfly can't honor what they advertise. Fortunately I didn't spend a lot of time on my project and can easily pick this same style card elsewhere.

It seemed like a bait and switch on the advertised canvas sale price.

- - The 29.99 size was enlarged by wraparound, cutting heads.

I went on Shutterfly website to order a canvas print. There was a sale running at the time of canvas prints.
The size I wanted to order was showing $29.99. As I uploaded my photo, it enlarged the photo, cutting off the heads of the people in the photo with the wrap around feature.
There wasnt a way to shrink the photo so everyones head was in the picture, so I had to opt for a different format with a boarder and frame around it, bringing the price from $29.99 to $109. Although the end product looked good, it was much more than I was hoping to pay.
