Nightmare! I had a terrible experience this holiday season.
Ordered cards 12/7. Received notice of a "production delay" 12/13 with promise to arrive by 12/19: "We wanted to proactively provide an update on your recent Shutterfly order (order number 003073848414-9000024). When you placed your order you were given a delivery window of 4-5 days, with delivery no later than 12/19/2016. While we always strive to get your order to you at the beginning of the delivery window, we have encountered a production delay.
Rest assured we will ship your order as quickly as possible, with the goal of getting it to you no later than 12/19/2016, and we will upgrade the shipping method at no charge if necessary." Received note they shipped on 12/17.
Now I hear they might not arrive until AFTER CHRISTMAS!! What the hoo ha Shutterfly?
